Nike pays homeage to one of the NBA’s most popular players which is none other than Charles Barkey. The CB 34 was retro’d this year, and they originally dropped in 1995. Barkley fans were extremely pleased with the CB 34 retro, and Nike will continue to retro more CB classics in 2008. Before 2008 gets here Nike will release a collection of AF1’s from his former glory days.
The Charles Barkley AF1 collection will make it’s debut this month. At the beginning of last month posted a preview of the Charles Barkley AF1 collection, and today we take a look at a few more. The pack was inspired by his basketball career including; Leeds High School, Auburn University, Philadelphia 76ers, 1992 Barcelona Olympic Games, Phoenix Suns, and the Houston Rockets. Some were posted in our previous Sir Charles preview, but some haven’t been seen until now.
On October 6th (Saturday) pairs from the Leeds High School era will hit stores in two cores, a premium, and supreme max edition. Stay tuned as we keep you updated with play-by-play release dates on this collection. via Hypebeast
