Canon PowerShot G10

With numerous cameras being unveiled in preparation of the giant imaging and photographic tradeshow photokina which takes place next week, the much respected G-series from Canon receives an update in the form of the G10. Its predecessor the G9 was a popular choice among many for its strong features, availability and reasonable pricing relative to other competitors. As an update, the G10 will enjoy a new DIGIC 4 image processor, a relatively wider 28mm lens, 5x optical zoom, a 14.7 MP sensor and a 3″ LCD screen. Above all else for the budding camera enthusiast, necessary features like the ability to shoot in RAW are preserved. Available in October with a suggested price of $500 USD.

For those who are looking for a camera with super quality and who do not want to spend over $1000, I suggest this camera for you.
